This V-Twin Fan-Cooled engine is the VX 950. It's designed to provide unbeatable performance, boasting the highest horsepower and torque available on the Aurora and Conquest Series.
The transmission used in the Admiral vehicle comes with Argo Progressive Steering (APS). It is equipped with complex gearing, which includes dual differentials on the output shafts. Unlike other vehicles, where the braking force is applied to the output shafts, in Admiral, it is applied to a steering differential, which results in a smoother and gentler steering experience.
When steering in high gear, the output shafts rotate at a 3:1 ratio, providing a more pleasant driving experience. However, the high range does not allow a zero turn. To achieve that, the driver needs to switch to low range, which operates similarly to a traditional skid steer vehicle, allowing for a zero-radius turn.
To ensure operator and passenger comfort, heat-reflective and absorptive material is integrated into the firewall. A composite exhaust shroud redirects heat and produces a subtle exhaust note.
The Huntmaster is equipped with 25” XT117 Beadlock steel rims and chevron treads that enhance your power in thick mud and water.
Pulling power when you need it most. The Argo winch assists with high-angle extractions of equipment or debris and comes standard on the Aurora Huntmaster with a 3,500 lb. capacity.
The smooth and durable underbody of the XTV floats over obstacles and water, thanks to ARGO's signature one-piece amphibious lower body design.
APS is an innovative approach to braking force application in the transmission steering differential. By incorporating a spring element between the handlebars and the brake system, we have achieved a progressive and dual-rate steering system. This has made steering events effortless and provides a 4x wider range of steering motion, making it the smoothest turning available in an Argo XTV. With APS, driving an Argo XTV is as fun and comfortable as driving a UTV.
The Argo Instant Torque Drive System (ITDS) enhances low-end torque and accelerates the vehicle faster. The Instant Torque Clutch (ITC) is designed to provide the ideal gear ratio and shift seamlessly across the entire range to fully utilize the high torque and power generated by our engines.
